• Paper: 80# minimum, 100# preferred - C1S Label
• Gloss Lamination: .5 mil gluable/stampable polyester (1.2 mil with adhesive)
• Matte Lamination: .5 mil gluable/stampable polypropylene (1.2 mil with adhesive)
Miscellaneous:
Press sheets cannot have aqueous primer or coating prior to lamination. This will cause the lamination to detach from the binder leaving air bubbles.
Lamination to be applied to paper in a way that will cancel out the curling of the paper. Prints should be printed grain long (see diagram below). Lamination must bleed past our cut lines to allow for excess trim on all four sides.
Sheets must arrive flat with no curling. Each stack must not exceed 30" tall. Sheets cannot cling together due to lamination, paper, static, etc. Sheets stacked over 30" create blocking/clinging due to weight factor. Each sheet is fed into automated equipment. Clinging causes multiple sheets to be inserted into the equipment causing those sheets to be spoiled.

• Prints must be clearly marked to show which print goes on front and back covers
• Vulcan will not be held responsible for prints that are not trimmed to correct size
• Vulcan will not be held responsible for print quality issues including color matching, positioning of graphics, image quality, appearance of prints in binder, etc.
