Founded in 1947, Vulcan Information Packaging continues to be one of the strongest manufacturers of looseleaf binder products and custom packaging solutions. Because custom manufacturing requires experience, our strength lies in the hands of our many long-term employees—more than half of our manufacturing staff have been serving Vulcan customers for ten years or more. Only 15% of our workforce has less than five years experience. A division of EBSCO Industries, the largest privately held corporation in Alabama, Vulcan is a part of a conglomerate which surpassed $1 billion in 1997. EBSCO is diversified and can offer multiple services from different divisions to the same customer. Vulcan is positioned to serve customers by manufacturing, warehousing and shipping projects with specific fulfillment needs—all under one roof. When combined with our financial strength, our state-of-the-art facility allows Vulcan to provide services often avoided by the competition.
